Privacy
This is a starting draft. Have it reviewed by counsel in your operating jurisdictions before launch.
What this site collects
This site carries no advertising trackers and sells no data. Four things involve personal data:
- Enquiry form. If you complete the enquiry form, we receive the details you type — name, work email, company, role, and your description of the situation — so that a person can reply to you.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records ordinary request data such as IP address, user agent and requested path, for operational and security purposes.
- Product analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure page performance. These are aggregate and cookieless, and do not build a profile of you across sites.
- Google Analytics. Where enabled, Google Analytics 4 records page views and basic interaction events to tell us which articles are read. It sets cookies and processes data on Google’s infrastructure. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage, and we have not enabled Google Signals or advertising personalisation. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, or with any tracker blocker — nothing on this site depends on it.
The maturity assessment runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to us or stored anywhere.
What we do with it
Enquiry details are used to respond to your enquiry and, if an engagement follows, to manage that relationship. We do not sell personal data, and we do not add enquirers to a marketing list or an automated email sequence.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twenty-four months. Records relating to an engagement are retained for as long as required by the contract and by applicable tax, accounting and statutory obligations.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics, where enabled, sets its own analytics cookies. Depending on where you and your visitors are located — the UK and EU in particular — analytics cookies may require consent before they are set, which means a consent banner. Take advice on whether your visitor mix requires one.
